succinic acid

hi all what is the proceture to calculate assay of succinic acid?
suggest me like indicator, titrant etc.,
i refered in BP,IP ,USP. but cannot find.

On organic acids generally N/10 sodium hydroxide phenolphthalein.
You must also do chromatography to confirm target acid is only acid
present.
Good procedure is to esterify with an excess of methanol with catalyst
my favourite is toluene sulphonic acid. Dilute with aq extract with
ether.
Then to GLC ether extract on methyl silicone column.
If you cannot do GC do a melting point on dried acid sample.
