Dear everyone

Is there anyone who have a method of PBBS analysis in polymer by GC/
MS?
Please inform me about that.
Thank you

Here are references to a detailed analysis by GC/MS. Google these

We have also been successful in rapidly detecting PBDE's directly from
polymers by using DART mass spectrometry. This is a promising way to
determine if the levels are greater than the acceptable EU levels.
This is being pursued by my European colleagues.

FYI, we have been successful in rapid detection of PBDE's in polymers
by DART mass spectrometry. The method is not presently as specific
(with respect to isomer discrimination) or sensitive as a full-blown
GC/MS method, but it is a lot faster. Decabromodiphenyl ether shows
up quite nicely within a few seconds. This is being investigated by
my European colleagues with respect to EU regulations on maximum PBDE
levels.
