Would anyone be so kind as to recommend a lab that could analyze a
sample of agar to determine the concentration of iodine?

Not a common analysis as it cant be put through automatic machines.
You need a real chemist.
Where are you based.

call around in your area (Phoenix, Tempe, Glendale, etc.) for labs the can
do the iodine analysis by ICPMS (inductively coupled plasma-mass spec)
check prices.
